The sound of madness is the third album by hard rock band “Shinedown.” They have really recorded what was unimaginable till now. This album is purely hard rock and is one of the heaviest albums that have been produced so far.

The Sound Of Madness

The album was released on June 17 and is rocking from then. The original album was also available for streaming on Shinedown’s Myspace page. The album is simply great and they performed many Shinedown concerts last year, then decided to reveal this album. This is their best album out of three and the best in market too. The music is full of passion and energy.

The music is dazzling and we cannot categorize it into lust, madness, victory or story. The band is able to take its audience to next level of entertainment because band has been able to maintain a right balance between heavy tracks and soft tracks. “Cry for help” has both soft and hard feelings. The band has taken chance on both soft and hard music.
You can listen all the songs from the album on their official website, and don’t forget to check the shinedown photos section.

The vocal performance is outstanding and Brent Smith has proved that he is one f the best vocalist in rock music. The starting theme is a great for head banging. The fist half of the album has fast and heavy rock music. However, second half of the album has mid-pace and soft songs. This is undoubtedly the Shinedown’s most successful album and they have really come off age this time. The album is good but we still feel that there should have been one more heavy rock song.
