In 2004, Yusuf Islam, widely known as pop legend Cat Stevens before his conversion to Islam in the late 1970s, was on his way from London to a Nashville recording studio when a name similar to his had popped up on the no-fly list. His flight was diverted to Maine, where he was detained by the FBI, and he was deported the next day.
