Pilgrim's napkin was quite a luxury (The Standard-Times)
A visit to the newly enlarged Pilgrim Hall Museum in Plymouth on Friday got me to thinking about dinner napkins.

The chunk of rock sitting on a pedestal is almost overwhelmed by the grand architecture and enormous paintings in the Main Hall at Pilgrim Hall Museum. But make no mistake; this is not some random stone. "Piece of Plymouth Rock," a sign proclaims. "Please Touch!" Sure enough, almost everyone who passes pauses to lay a hand on history.
