The fans of the British girl group SUGABABES should be more than thrilled as the band have denied rumors they are on the verge of splitting, saying that all these rumors are “complete rubbish.”
It’s true that the Round Round hitmakers have gone through several line-up changes in the last few years, replacing founding members Siobhan Donaghy (she left the band in 2001 blaming constant infighting for her decision to leave) and Mutya Buena (quit in 2005 to pursue a solo career). And recently, the new group, consisting of Keisha Buchanan, Heidi Range, and Amelle Berrabah, was said to be planning to go their separate ways a day after a story was published in a tabloid at the weekend. Their separation was said to be following the release of their latest record, 2008’s Catfights and Spotlights.

However, a spokesman for the band insists the pop stars are already making plans for their seventh studio album, telling Britain’s Daily Mirror, “It’s complete rubbish that the Sugababes are splitting up. Things are going great - they have a jam-packed diary for 2009.”

The “jam-packed diary” includes promotion in America next month, and being regular mentors to the girls group, in Holland’s version of the X Factor. The trio is also making plans for their next album.
