Razorlight, the Anglo-Sweedish indie rock band formed in 2002 and primarily known in their home countries, having topped the charts with the 2006 single ‘America‘ and its parent self-titled album, their second, have announced the tour dates for UK, Australia, Mexico and North America.

After many months of producing new material, some of which was written on the Isle of Tiree in the Inner Hebrides, Razorlight released their third studio album, ‘Slipway Fires‘, on November 3rd 2008 with the lead single, “Wire To Wire“, being released on October 20th 2008. The album’s first single, “Wire To Wire”, was played for the first time on BBC Radio 1 by Zane Lowe on September 8th 2008. Now, the band has confirmed that the next single to be taken from their album will be “Hostage of Love”; it is due to be released on January 12th 2009.
The gigs will coincide with Razorlight’s promotion of third album ‘Slipway Fires’.

Young Knives, the band known for its energetic live performances and their taste in tweed outfits, will soon be hitting the UK roads for a fresh tour, the three-piece have just announced. The low-key eleven date road trip takes place in March and April, and it’s thought Young Knives could be testing new material from their next album (the follow-up to 2008’s ‘Superabundance’).
The band broke into the music industry in 2002 with the critical success of their debut mini-album ‘The Young Knives… Are Dead’, but began to garner national coverage upon the release of their single “The Decision” in late 2005.
