| Popular pop-punk band prepares album for new label (The Post and Courier) Little more than 10 years ago, the notion of playing in a pop-punk band was a joke for the founding members of New Found Glory. A decade later, there are many pop-oriented punk bands. Until recently, the band ? Jordan Pundik, Steve Klein, Ian Grushka, Cyrus Bolooki and Chad Gilbert ? were apprehensive about what the future pop-flavored industry might bring. Uptown-Downtown (The Towerlight) Uptown- Pop-punk band New Found Glory will be performing Tuesday night at the Recher Theatre with A Day to Remember, Four Years Strong, International Super Heroes of Hardcore, and Crime in Stereo. Doors open at 6 p.m. Downtown- The Koffin Kats, The Doomsayers, The Deadneks, and Pessimist Parade will be performing at the Sidebar Tavern (218 E.
