According to reports, a series of shows that were supposed to kick off on January 20 in Sunrise, Florida have now been pushed back to late March and April yet fans holding tickets for the postponed shows will be able to use them at the rescheduled dates.It seems that the reason of this delay is the foot injuries suffered by singer Anthony Kiedis. He had problems with this foot since their last tour in U.S. - the 2007 Stadium Arcadium U.S. tour and over the years the problem worsened. When RHCP made an official release announcing the new dates, they also said that Kiedis, 49, recently underwent surgery to remove a crushed sesamoid bone and correct a detached flexor tendon in his foot. A press release available on the band’s website states: “Red Hot Chili Peppers regret to announce that they must postpone the start of their upcoming U.S. tour due to multiple foot injuries sustained by Anthony Kiedis”. He’s expected to make a full recovery and their fans are supportive but they do fear that the band they love so much will forget about them as they did for the last couple of years and so. As you probably remember if you’re one of their fan base, the band focused for years in a row more on Europe and the United Kingdom, leaving fans in North America with their memories and hopes.

The tour was supposed to start January 25th with a gig in Charlotte, North Carolina at the Time Warner Cable Arena but due to the unfortunate event, the tour will begin March 29 in Tampa Bay, as it has been posted on the band’s official website. The 2012 tour will supposedly promote their 2011 disc, named I’m With You, but until Kiedis recovers and the band hits the stage, fans will have to settle with the new, freshly released video for the second single off the album (”Monarchy of Roses” that managed to debut on the second position in the Billboard 200) which has already sold 229,000 copies.

By the end of the penultimate show, Cowell predicted, “I think this is going to be the closest final we’ve ever had” and let it slip that the singer he mentored in the race, Melanie Amaro may be the show’s winner. He lacked the objectivity a judge should have, regardless of his ups-and-downs mentorship of Amaro, whom he cut from the competition before reconsidering and allowing her back in after making a personal visit to her home. The show creator said that the reason for which he brought this show to US is the fact that he believes America gave the world some of its best singers ever. And it seems he considers the 19-year-old Amaro from Sunrise, Florida, one of those singers. “I think you, based on that performance tonight, to me, should be the winner of ‘The X Factor,’ because you’re going to represent this country all over the world.”

It seems that Amero’s performance convinced Cowell of her talent. She performed a duet of “I Believe I Can Fly” with R. Kelly, which marked Kelly’s first performance since undergoing throat surgery earlier this year, then she had a rendition of Beyoncé’s “Dreamgirls” ballad “Listen.” Kelly, who had his first-ever duet of his 1996 smash, said that Amaro was “unbelievable” and that “There’s no doubt in my mind this girl is on her way to the moon.” Amaro, who is a piano teacher and college freshman, is also confident about her talent and already makes plans for the future: “I have a big voice, there will be ballads [when I record an album], and songs that will make you want to dance I’d love to do a collaboration with Mariah Carey. I love her and she is inspiring and has a big diva voice like mine.”
However, while her mentor described the performance “close to godly,” L.A. Reid criticized Amaro for not performing well in the song’s key. But, as Simon Cowell said, “One of these artists is going to be the legacy of this year” and Amaro is not alone in the competition. Chris Rene, a 28-year-old from Santa Cruz, California and Josh Krajcik, a 30-year-old self-described “burrito slinger” from Columbus, Ohio are also in the race for the big pot and the other judges seem to be quite found of them both. Rene, who shared the stage early on with Avril Lavigne, as the two performed Lavigne’s hit “Complicated” together and then sang “Young Homie,” a song he penned which he mixed it with the Beatles’ “Let It Be” has equal chances of winning. Paula Abdul dubbed his performance “magic,” while calling him the “consummate singer-songwriter-performer. You make everyone fall in love with you!”
Josh Krajcik is the one who took the stage first, accompanied by Alanis Morissette, as the two took on her 1998 hit “Uninvited.” Then, accompanied only by his guitar, Josh performed “At Last”, making the judges tremble with emotion. “You have delivered in every single performance,” his mentor, Nicole Scherzinger, said about his consistency throughout the competition.

Regardless of who is crowned the first winner of the U.S. version of The X Factor, all three hope to push forward in the music industry.

Drake’s Club Paradise Tour will kick off on Valentine’s Day in Miami and it will hit 17 cities in North America, with stops in party spots like New Orleans, Austin and San Diego, before departing for UK. The tour, which pays homage to a track Drizzy dropped back in September, is said to be a major international event, although the Take Care rapper didn’t announce dates for other countries. But let’s take things one at a time.

The US 2012 headlining tour will visit colleges before wrapping up the North American leg on March 11 in San Diego and Drake will be accompanied by Hottest Hottest Breakthrough MC contenders Kendrick Lamar and A$AP Rocky. “I wanna bring Kendrick, I wanna bring A$AP, those are guys that I love. It has nothing to do with people on my label. Tyga’s out, Nicki’s working on an album and everybody else is doing their thing on the road with Wayne or with Wayne in the studio, so I just sort of showcased the music that I happen to love right now, and those are the two guys that I’m bringing out” the singer said to a prestigious music channel.

As for the UK leg of his The Club Paradise Tour, The former “Degrassi” star will be taking the stage at London’s O2 Arena on Monday, March 26. Then, Drake will be moving his show over to Cardiff to play on Wednesday, March 28 at the Motorpoint Arena and at the SECC in Glasgow on April 2. However, if for North America Drake announced the complete list of dates, for UK, he revealed only the locations: Nottingham, Newcastle, Birmingham, and Liverpool. Exact dates for UK as well as for other European countries are yet to be announced.

As for the upcoming album, it seems that between their live performances in U.K. and overseas, including stops in Sweden, Spain, Japan, and Italy, the band has found some time to work on new material. “There’s one called ‘I Can’t Believe It’s Not Love,’ and I suppose it’s the nearest equivalent the new set of songs has to ‘Friday Night’ or something like that. It’s an acoustic-y, swing-y one with a massive guitar solo in the middle. Then there’s another song called ‘Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us,’ which has been in the set for a while. There are probably seven or eight tracks we’ve actually done live, all of which will make it onto the record probably,” frontman Justin Hawkins told Rolling Stone.

It looks like the band found its courage to take risks and be more creative and that’s what made singer Justin Hawkins return to the band. “We started doing stuff because we were trying to cling onto the achievements we’d made with the first record. And that’s definitely the main reason why I left, I felt like we’d stopped being creative and being fun in the name of desperately trying to maintain something,” the singer said about his parting away from the group following treatment for alcohol and drug issues in 2006.

Now, The Darkness is going to work with a particular producer whose name remains anonymous and hope to release their third album somewhere around January or March.

Cobra Starship frontman Gabe Saporta, Bieber’s onetime tourmate, confirmed that Bieber couldn’t have had an affair with that girl: “It wouldn’t even be possible for her to get backstage. The security is so crazy there, you can’t get backstage. And even if you got backstage, first of all, he leaves the show as soon as he’s offstage, which is pretty cool. He runs offstage, gets in a car and jets, because the whole city turns into chaos.”

And in order to prove that he is innocent he accepted to take a paternity test as soon as he returns from a European promotional jaunt. This means that in two weeks, he will take a paternity test to prove that he did not father a child with a fan who has claimed the pair had a backstage affair.
Bieber’s spokesperson, Matthew Hiltzik, confirmed for the press that the test has been scheduled: “I can confirm that the team has proactively made arrangements for Justin to be tested upon his return and we’re going to hold everyone who is involved responsible.” Thus, if the test proves Bieber is not the father of that child, his team of lawyers will take legal action. “It’s sad that someone would fabricate malicious, defamatory, and demonstrably false claims,” Hiltzik said in a statement. “We’ll vigorously pursue all available legal remedies to protect Justin and to hold those involved with bringing this suit accountable for their actions.”

Unfortunately, this ugly paternity scandal, which has rocked his previously squeaky-clean image, won’t pass too soon and this controversy could spark a statutory rape investigation by Los Angeles police because the woman was 19 years old at the time and Bieber was allegedly 16. So, is he a father or not? I guess will find the answer in two weeks.

It’s not going to be big, but the “Skyscraper” singer is excited of just hitting the road again and seeing her fans, that she wrote on Twitter: “This is it!!! Hope to see everyone soon on tour!!!:D’ She added: ‘Lets get the word out #Lovatics DEMI LOVATO IS GOING ON TOUR! Trend it! GO GO GO!!! @ddlovato’”

The mini tour, which is her first venture back into the spotlight since leaving the support slot on the Jonas Brothers tour, was announced for November and December. Lovatics should gear up for it, as apparently the tour will hit 10 U.S. cities, starting November 16 in Detroit. Then, the 19-year-old star will visit Foxwoods in Connecticut; Hershey, Pennsylvania; and Kansas City and make two stops in her home state of Texas; and shows in New Orleans, St. Louis and Atlanta.The tour that coincides with third album Unbroken - her first release since 2009 - wraps up on December 3 in Chicago.

But Lovato is determined to work hard and to regain her pop princess crown in no time. She has already garnered tons of critical praise for her latest album, she’s prepping not only for a tour but for the release of her second single “Who’s That Boy” too, she has joined forces with the likes of Missy Elliot, Timbaland, Dev and Jason Derulo, and she is willing to try her hand at any number of projects that should come her way. “I’m looking forward to kind of just finding out what’s next. I don’t know what’s next - if it’s a movie, if it’s touring, I don’t know, we’ll find out,” said the young singer.

As for the tour, Lovatics can purchase tickets starting today, October 14.

The first rumor ignited Monday, after a taping of Australia’s “The Sunday Night Show.” It seems that when Beyoncé sat down to be interviewed, her baby bump folded in half beneath her dress and viewers thought it was all a hoax, and that B was employing a surrogate to carry her child. Anyway, her reps stand up and denied the whole thing, calling the accusations “stupid, ridiculous and false”.

Unfortunately, when one charge was down, another one emerged, and I may say it’s a more serious one. A Belgian director claims that the singer has copied her routines in the new music video for her latest single “Countdown”. Beyoncé’s clip was directed by Adria Petty and it is any filmmaker’s dream, with bright colors, split screens, dizzying patterns and dance sequences that will remind you of the ’60s, ’70s and ’80s styles, never too much skin, always smiling so lovingly as the Beyoncé we all know and love.

But B’s joy as well as ours, her fans, has been seriously overshadowed by Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker who claims that Beyoncé’s “Countdown” video pays unattributed homage to one of her clips by using two routines created by her dance company for the music video of “‘Rosas danst Rosas” which is actually one of the Belgian dance company’s biggest hits and it was created in 1983. De Keersmaeker is not angry nor she feels flattered by B’s admiration of her work under the mask of imitation, and she stated that she had been “struck by the resemblance of Beyoncé’s clip not only with the movement from ‘Rosas danst Rosas’ but also with the costumes, the set and even the shots from the film by director Thierry De Mey.” Then she added that “obviously, Beyoncé, or the music video director Adria Petty, plundered many bits of the integral scenes in the film.” The director recognizes B’s talent, saying that she is not the worst copycat as she sings and dances very well, but that “there are protocols and consequences to such actions, and I can’t imagine she and her team are not aware of it.”

De Keersmaeker and Thierry De Mey didn’t decide yet if they are going to sue the pregnant singer and her team, but it’s a fact that they will have to pay for their mistakes. Beyoncé is however denying the accusations, motivating that she found inspiration only in Audrey Hepburn’s film Funny Face and the retro look of Diana Ross, Andy Warhol and Brigitte Bardot. But who knows, she may reconsider her statement as she did earlier this year. At the Billboard Music Awards, Beyoncé was accused of copying the choreography of a dance by Italian pop singer Lorella Cuccarini. The singer first denied the accusation but later she acknowledged being inspired by Cuccarini.

The 30-year-old singer who performed at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, shocked fans as she emerged on stage in a mangy state. According to Daily Mail, Aguilera’s blonde hair, which was filled out with long extensions, was matted mess and unkempt and her skimpy corset and fishnets did little to flatter her very curvy figure. What was she thinking appearing on stage like that only she knows; perhaps she thought it was appropriate and fitting with the song she chose to sing - one of the King of Pop’s favorite songs, “Smile” by Charlie Chaplin. Then, Aguilera changed into a more demure navy dress, with military detailing favoured by Jackson, and the audience forgave her for her previous mistake.

Another reason for the failure of the concert was the missing of some great artists who was supposed to perform on stage but pulled out of the lineup at the 11th hour, disappointing British fans big time. The Black Eyed Peas cited “unavoidable circumstances”, while Jennifer Hudson cancelled her performance without even hiding her frustration at the show’s organizers. She tweeted “To my uk fans that were coming to the mj show in wales. I will no longer be attending due to major production issues. I would have thought they would have informed you all by now, so since they did not , I am. Thank u for your support.”

Of course, the show went on despite these “minor flaws” and Cee Lo Green, Jamie Foxx, Gladys Knight and Smokey Robinson, and British stars Leona Lewis, Alexandra Burke, JLS and Diversity took the stage that was shaped like a giant glove one by one to pay their respects for the late King of Pop. The musicians performed songs from across Jackson’s career - from his childhood with the Jackson 5 through monster solo albums like Thriller and Bad. R&B star Ne-Yo kicked off the show with a rendition of Billie Jean, being cheered for some passable moonwalking moves, while Jackson’s brothers Marlon, Tito and Jackie - three-fifths of the original Jackson 5 - took the stage to perform Blame It On the Boogie with British boy band JLS.

Jackson’s three children were also there and they stepped up and tried to forget for a couple of hours the dark shadow that the Los Angeles manslaughter trial of Jackson’s doctor casted over their lives. “We’re very happy to be here on this special night to honor our father,” said 13-year-old Paris, who made a brief onstage appearance alongside brothers Prince, 14, and 9-year-old Michael Joseph Jr., known as Blanket. In order to honor their father, the children wore outfits evoking their father’s famous styles.

The author of the just-released book Murder Rap: The Untold Story of the Biggie Smalls & Tupac Shakur Investigations claims that the police holds tapes and documents of important testimonies in the two cases of murder: Tupac Shakur’s and Notorious BIG’s. He says that among this evidence, the most important statement is that of Keffe D, an assassin who was in the car from which Shakur was shut. It seems that this gang member was paid $1 million dollars by no other than P. Diddy alias Sean Combs to kill the young and successful rapper. Kading quotes Davis saying “[Combs] took me downstairs and he’s like, ‘Man, I want to get rid of them dudes.’ … I was like, ‘We’ll wipe their ass out, quick. It’s nothing.’”

Keffe gives details about the night of the murder too, saying that his nephew, the boy beaten by Tupac in that very same night, was the one who pulled the trigger. “If Tupac had been on my side of the car, I would have been the one who shut him,” Keffe said.

Of course, this isn’t the first time that Didd’s been accused of Tupac’s murder. Eight years ago, Kirk Burrowes, ex-president of Bad Boy Entertainment, accused him of this crime. Nobody believed him at that moment because it was no evidence to prove it. As for these new accusations, Diddy, the ringmaster of Bad Boy Entertainment, Death Row Records’ rival at that time, says to LA Weekly that the “story is pure fiction” and that Keffe is not a reliable witness as he would say anything as long as he gets time off his sentence.

And Keffe didn’t stop here. He also spoke about Notorious BIG assassination that came soon after Tupac’s death. According to him and to the author of the book, Suge Knight, who survived the shootings with a bullet wound to the head on the night Tupac was murdered, ordered the killing of BIG, P. Diddy’s best friend in order to revenge Shakur. And one of the women with whom Knight had a baby also made a statement, saying the same thing. The woman, whose name was changed to protect her identity, said that Knight gave her money to hire Wardell “Poochie” Fouse to do the killing.

It remains to be seen whether the subject of this book is true or not but a thing remains certain: the circumstances of Shakur’s death can no longer remain unclear.

Unfortunately, the battle with the throat illness is far from being over and the Someone Like You star was forced to cancel her upcoming US tour of 10-date American trek, which was due to kick off today in New Jersey. Positioned to cover much of the South and Texas over ten dates, the tour was sold out so fans are a bit angry because they emptied their pockets to buy the tickets and now they won’t see their idol because doctors advised her to rest her voice for an “extended rest period.”

However, since the love of fans is immeasurable, they understand the sadness of their idol and wish her health so they could see her soon on stage. Adele feels guilty and responsible for the postponement and she promised her fans that she would start “as soon as, and start building my over all stamina in my voice, body and mind.” “I have absolutely no choice but to recuperate properly and fully, or I risk damaging my voice forever. I have great confidence in believing you know how much this upsets me, how seriously I take it and how truly devastated and annoyed I am by this. Wanting to do something so bad and not being able to is the most frustrating thing as I’m sure you know!” the singer wrote to her American fans. She appologised and asked them to have faith in her.
