The woodland wonderment, presented by the folks at (((folkYEAH!))) , goes down September 26-27 at Big Sur, California's Fernwood Resort, and sports a whole lot of bands who seem like the types to play/live in sylvan locale. Leading this towering lineup are the likes of ... School of rock (Isthmus) She attended high school in Middleton, but Y Mae Sussman's musical tastes span the globe. Most recently, she's been making sonic journeys to exotic pop landscapes like Sweden and Denmark. For Sussman, the names of Scandinavian artists - Jens Lekman, the Figurines and Peter, Bjorn ' John - come as easy as John Mayer and Coldplay.
