After his ridiculous ongoing feud with Rick Ross, 50 Cent talked about his new LP Before I Self-Destruct and revealed that he would release not one but two new albums this year. Like Eminem, who will drop ‘Relapse‘ on May 19th and then Relapse 2 later in the year, 50 Cent also plans to go all Use Your Illusion on everyone in 2009.
“The new announcement is that I’m dropping two albums,” 50 told MTV News. “I’ve had an opportunity to record since I thought I was releasing an album in December. But the portion of my record that I recorded with Dr. Dre was incomplete, because there was no opportunity to mix it.” We’re not sure that’s an actual explanation, but we do know this: Before I Self-Destruct was supposed to be released in December 2008, but was pushed back to February and then to March 2009 — and now the word is it’ll street in June 2009. To further ape Eminem’s release strategy, 50 says he’ll unleash his second album of 2009 a month after Slim Shady drops Relapse 2.

50 Cent also revealed that there will be a video for the “Crack A Bottle” collaboration that will somehow wind up on Self-Destruct and not Relapse or Dr. Dre’s long-awaited Detox, as rumored.
Moreover, the famous hip hop star announced that he would join Fall Out Boy, Cobra Starship, Metro Station and other Fueled By Ramen kids on their upcoming Believers Never Die Part Deux tour this spring, the first of which would be on April 14, per Fall Out Boy’s Friends or Enemies site. “This will be a major moment in music history,” 50 Cent says of shared tour dates.
On Monday it was reported that 50 Cent would be joining the boys for five dates of their Believers Never Die Part Deux tour. “Joining forces with Fall Out Boy, one of the most dynamic rock bands in the industry, will be an exciting and historic event for rock and hip-hop,” 50 Cent said in an exclusive statement to MTV News.
Furthermore, the rapper added “This is a chance for me to bring my music not only to hip-hop fans, but to a broader music audience.” Besides, this collaboration gives Fall Out Boy the chance to tour with an artist they’ve admired for years. “We’ve been fans of 50 since we heard ‘Wanksta’ in ‘8 Mile,’” Pete Wentz said in a statement to MTV News. “We’ve wanted to do something with him for awhile, and having him out on the tour is going to take the show to a whole new level. It’s exciting to bring two different genres together and give the fans a new experience.”

Fall Out Boy’s tour dates with 50 Cent are the following:
April 14 - Denver, CO @ Fillmore Auditorium
April 17 - Grand Prairie, TX @ Nokia Theater
April 18 - Houston, TX @ The Showgrounds at Sam Houston Race Park
April 24 - Charlotte, NC @ Bojangles Coliseum
April 25 - Columbia, MD @ Merriweather Post Pavilion
The remaining dates of the tour are now available, and include two dates in Texas and additional ones in North Carolina and Maryland, all in April.
